We offer different types of rooms to suit different needs:
• Economy and Standard rooms – basic and functional solutions
• Comfort Rooms, some with balconies, overlooking the rear, away from the funicular railway.
• Studio and Standard-ona rooms – spaces with kitchenette and capacity for up to 4–5 people, ideal for longer stays or for those who want more independence
Some rooms overlook the funicular railway that connects the railway station to the city centre, a very convenient link, operating from 5 a.m. to 12.15 a.m.
The rooms at the rear of the building offer a more peaceful environment.
The following are also available to guests free of charge during their stay:
• a bike point, for those travelling by bicycle
• a Technogym-equipped fitness centre
• a small sauna and solarium
Pets (dogs) are welcome on request and at an additional cost depending on size; however, they are not allowed in the restaurant.

We know that a holiday isn’t a real holiday if you can’t share it with your loved ones. That’s why, at our hotel, we don’t just take care of your bike, we also take care of your whole family, including your four-legged friends.
We have reserved certain types of rooms specifically for those travelling with their faithful companions. To ensure maximum comfort and tranquillity for everyone, two-legged and otherwise, in our spaces, our hospitality is designed exclusively for small and medium-sized dogs. We have chosen to devote special care to them, as they are the only furry guests allowed in our establishment, so that we can offer a balanced and peaceful environment to every guest.

The Hotel Acquarello is located in the centre of Lugano, at the foot of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, renowned for its bas-reliefs and Romanesque frescoes.
We are just a short walk from the “Motta” car park and the lake.
